The burning of herbs for their aroma and energetic effect has been in practice for hundreds of years across many cultures. 
 
This incense is a loose, combustable version, and once lit will continue to burn on its own. Due to its loose nature it is intended for quick pinch-size uses when burning a cone, stick or bundle is not needed. Great for setting intentions and sending prayers into the smoke. 
 
This incense does require a heat tolerant container to be burned in and should not be left unattended at any time.
